Established 1992

Our Story

On December 3, 1992, two outstanding and purpose-driven women established SISTUHS, Incorporated on the campus of Florida State University. These women aimed to create an organization that thrived on developing local leadership, acquiring knowledge about women of color, their history, and the role they’ve played in it.

On August 3, 2003, four former collegiate chapter members from the FSU, USF, and FAMU Chapters of SISTUHS, Inc. chartered the Tampa, Florida Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Inc.

Vision

The mission of SISTUHS, Incorporated is to improve the social disposition of underrepresented populations through community development, education, and the provision of other social services in our respective communities.
